A class action lawsuit against Avalon Bay Communities, Inc. and Quincy Avalon, LLC, is pending in the Suffolk Superior Court. The suit alleges that current and former tenants of the Avalon Quincy apartment complex and of other properties owned and managed by Avalon Bay are entitled to damages because they were unlawfully billed for sub-metered water and sewer service.
