A class action on behalf of consumers of Annie's Fruit Snacks has been filed in the San Diego County Superior Court, California. The case alleges that Annie's packaging misrepresents that the fruit snacks are sweetened with real fruit juice because only juice concentrates are present, which are considered "added sugars" by the FDA. Attorney Kenneth Quat is co-counseling the case with the firm of Fitzgerald Monroe Flynn, PC.
