A settlement was recently completed where a car dealer repurchased a vehicle from a client of Quat Law Offices for nearly the entire purchase price. The vehicle had stalled on several occasions while being driven at highway speeds, an obviously dangerous situation. The settlement was reached even though the protections of the Massachusetts Lemon Law had expired, there was no express warranty on the vehicle, and the vehicle had been driven over 5,000 miles.
