Norfolk Financial Settlements
Quat Law Offices is pleased to announce that it has reached settlements with Norfolk Financial Corp. of Cumberland, Rhode Island, on behalf of two clients. In one case, it was alleged that Norfolk obtained a judgment based on a credit card and then seized the client's car even though it had been informed that it had sued on the wrong debt. In the second case, Norfolk failed to notify credit bureaus that the client disputed the debt, and then attempted to collect the debt after judgment was rendered for the client.
