Listerine case heading to Appeals Court

Pfizer has appealed the favorable decision obtained by Quat Law Offices in the Massachusetts Superior Court certifying a class of consumers who had purchased Listerine during the time it was being falsely advertised as being "as effective as floss." Attempted collection of $350 debt results in 5-figure settlement

New Class Actions Filed

Quat Law Offices has recently filed the following class action cases: (i) against FMS, Inc., an Oklahoma collection agency, for leaving allegedly unlawful phone messages for consumer debtors; (ii) against Lindner & Associates, P.C., a Massachusetts law firm, for seeking to collect allegedly unlawful legal fees from consumer debtors; and (iii) against Credit Control Services, Inc., a Minnesota collection agency, for sending collection letters which did not disclose the name of the actual creditor.
