False Labeling Class Action Continues

Attorney Kenneth D. Quat is co-counsel to plaintiff Peter Tucker in a class action brought against Post Consumer Brands in the federal district court for the Northern District of California. The case alleges that consumers are deceived by the labeling  of "Honey Bunches of Oats" cereal because the cereal's primary sweeteners are refined sugars and the amount of actual honey is miniscule. The court has denied Post's motion to dismiss the case, ruling that Mr. Tucker has alleged sufficient facts to prove his claims. The case will therefore continue.
